Friday was a Graduation......

My baby, Anastasia, graduated from Chicken Little Preschool on Friday!! We had a ceremony complete with cap and diploma (and a little stuffed doggie!) Then we all went out for pizza!

I had one of those "I-can't-believe-how-fast-she's-growing" moments. It really does seem like only yesterday I found out I was having her. I never ever planned on 3. I had my requisite boy and girl. But things happen for a reason, or so I'm told. And Ana truly is my little angel. She's smart, loving and compassionate. She wants to be a "pet doctor" when she grows up.

Is there any way to hold on to them just a little bit longer???

Your little one is adorable! I love preschool graduation. Been through it twice, and now my little one starts preschool in the fall. I can't believe how fast it goes, either...

She is so sweet, Stephanie. You are so lucky. I always wanted a little girl (not that my boys aren't a dream...but...you know). If you think the first 5 went quick, just wait and see how the next 13 fly by. It's astounding.

Saturday was another graduation, for my third grandchild, Brandy, who is heading for college in the fall. She's 18 going on 30, but was born just a day or two ago, I'm certain! Children grow up fast, as kookiejar said, but grandchildren grow up even faster. Ana looks so much OLDER than when I met her last year! Wow! If she remembers me, tell her I sent congratulations ... or tell her BOTH those women you guys ate with say congratulations.

Gentle Reader - Thanks!! This is #3 for me as well. When Ana starts Kindergarden in the fall, I'll probably be a mess. My baby!!

Kookie - Thank you! I do feel lucky. I never wanted girls...knowing what I was like as a child made me definitely think twice, but I wouldn't trade them for anything!!

Bonnie - She has grown so much in the past year. She's really tall!! I have no idea where she gets it, that's for sure! I'll definitely tell her...and she does remember you and Donna!

Chris - Thanks!! I will tell her! I can't believe how fast they grow!

Congrats to both of you. I went to a high school graduation Friday night. Where do the years go?

Oh, she's a doll! I remember when my eldest "graduated" from preschool because he was so badly behaved, but I don't remember the youngest (probably for the opposite reason). It does go way too fast. I can't believe my eldest will be 23 soon!!!
